For the purpose of terms and conditions BC Photo Workshops is Daniel Carey, Tom Briere, guest photographers, and assistants.
Liability Release:
BC Photo Workshops works to provide every participant a safe, educational, and enjoyable experience.
There is always an element of risk in any outdoor activity including, but not limited to, bodily injury, death, illness, loss or damage to personal property. By joining any workshop offered by BC Photo Workshops, participants acknowledge that they are aware of these risks and are physically capable of safely taking part in the workshop. Further, they release BC Photo Workshops from any liability. BC Photo Workshops assume no liability for injury, illness or loss of personal property or expenses associated with participation in a workshop.
BC Photo Workshops assumes no liability for any act, error, omission, injury, loss, delay, mishap, or damage to persons or property arising from any cause during the course of the workshop or in transit thereto. BC Photo Workshops accepts no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in the services to be provided. BC Photo Workshops reserves the right to change arrangements should conditions necessitate, or to cancel any aspect of the workshop due to exceptional circumstances. In the event that it is deem necessary to cancel the workshop BC Photo Workshops will provide a full refund, which the participants acknowledge as full and final settlement.
Registration and Payment:
Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first served basis. Your place on a given workshop will be held once payment of the required deposit is received but may be given up to another student if payment of the full workshop fee is not received one week prior to the workshop. Payment is made through our website using PayPal or a credit card.
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
Full refunds of all monies paid will be made if a workshop is canceled by us or if the workshop is rescheduled and you are unable to attend on the new date.
If you give up your workshop place more than four weeks prior to the workshop date, the workshop cost will be refunded. Cancellation in the third or fourth week prior to the class forfeits the deposit plus 25% of the remainder of the fee. Cancellation in the second week prior to the class results in forfeiture of the deposit plus 50% of the remainder of the fee, and cancellations in the week prior to the class result in forfeiture of the entire class fee. In all cases, if we fill your position in the workshop after your cancellation, all monies paid (including the deposit) will be returned.
BC Photo Workshops is not responsible for any other costs which participants may have incurred, including but not limited to travel, car rental, lodging, insurance, photographic purchases and/or rentals.
Workshop Schedule:
All workshop schedules and plans are subject to change at the workshop leaders discretion depending upon weather, health and safety considerations, or any other factor related or unrelated to photographic opportunities.
