Join Tom and Dan for a photo workshop photographing the Salt Marsh of Plum Island and Salisbury MA. The workshop will focus on skills development with an overview of the Bird Photography and camera settings.    Introduction to composition, camera settings, use of telephoto lens. The focus of the workshop is on creating great compositions in “winter light.” In December the sun is low in the sky, which creates a softer light and long shadows. The opportunities for compositions will change as we move through the different micro-environments of the marsh. Tom and Dan will give quick overviews of each micro-environment for selection of lens, filters, shoot speed. There is Plenty of opportunity for landscapes, macros of plants and ice, wildlife, birds and with a little luck a snowy owl.
