Osprey and Lighthouses – Midcoast Maine,  May 14-16 2021

Join Dan and Tom for a birding and landscape workshop on the Mid Coast of Maine. In the workshop you will learn to photograph ospreys & birds, and wildlife in their natural habitat as well as lighthouse landscapes.   Each day the workshop will start with an overview of the days photographic opportunities. At each stop we will discuss the best composition and camera settings to get the most out of the location.  There will time to critique images to improve technique and image quality.

Students should have a basic understanding of their camera to include changing shutter speed, ISO and lens aperture.

Physical Activity: Low to Medium. We will experience long days as well as some walking at certain locations.

Included: instruction at each site, photo review and commentary. local transportation for  daily excursion.

Not included: Travel to Warren Maine, Hotel, Food.

We will have long days starting with Sunrises, osprey & friends in the morning, and finish with sunsets.  There is a requirement for some walking, some of the terrain is uneven may have a grade, and can be rocky especially at the lighthouses.
